Car wash coming to Dixon Street

A car wash is planned near Dixon Park in Fredericksburg.

A location of The Goodwash Express car wash is in the works at 1675 Dixon Street, a 1.5-acre property near the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds and Mayfield neighborhood that has been on the market.

Christopher Del Monte has the property under contract and is getting started with the permitting process. He is also the developer of The Goodwash Express car wash that’s being built at the former Bob Evans property at 2305 Plank Road.

The Dixon Street facility will be the same model and building as the Plank Road site (see rendering that goes with this post).
