Local advisors to help ring NYSE closing bell
Several Fredericksburg-area financial advisors will be on Wall Street next week to help ring the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Local advisors from Cary Street Partners are among a team scheduled to ring the closing bell Thursday, December 22. Cary Street is a partner in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) called Fairlead Tactical Sector (TACK) that started in March and is overseen by well-known portfolio manager Katie Stockton. The fund already has about $183 million in assets under management, and its success led to the bell-ringing planned for next week.
Joining Stockton on the NYSE podium next week will be the following Cary Street representatives, many of whom work in the Fredericksburg office on the third floor of the Liberty Place building in downtown Fredericksburg: Tom Herrick, Lee Murray, Doug Stewart, Walter Bayne, Dan Clendenin, Andre Pineda and Chris Walters.
