Cycling race coming to Fredericksburg in October
Fondo Cycling Circuit USA will host its inaugural Fredericksburg event October 21, departing from Old Mill Park. This is one of six U.S. events the organization announced this week. EDT's Victoria Matthews worked closely with the race organizer to bring the event to the Fredericksburg area.

Franchise agreement in the works for pedal-cycle tour operator
Fredericksburg City Council took the first of two votes Tuesday to allow a company called Olde Skool Tours to offer guided pedal-cycle tours of downtown.
