EDA auctioning Caroline Street paintings

The six paintings that hung along Caroline Street for much of the past decade are being sold in a sealed-bid auction that will raise funds for future EDA public-art investments. The paintings are on display in the Fredericksburg Visitor Center. Bids are due by 2 p.m. today.

New eatery opens downtown

Ike's Signature Sandwiches opened in late May in the basement of the Olde Towne Butcher shop at 1000 Charles Street (corner of Charles and William streets).

UMW dedicates renovated Heslep Amphitheatre

UMW's renovated Heslep Amphitheatre is near completion. The dedication ceremony took place Saturday during Reunion Weekend 2018.
