P-Nats make substantial progress on stadium

The Potomac Nationals (soon to be the Fredericksburg somethings, more on that next week) have made significant progress in the City permitting process. Within the past month, the team has received approval of its master plan and  access road to the Interstate 95 sign, submitted an early grading permit, and gotten Architectural Review Board approval for signs at the soon-to-open sales office on the first floor of the Executive Plaza at 601 Caroline St. The Club is now working on a site plan, subdivision plat and construction documents -- all while making progress on financing, sponsorships and ticket sales (the team's Founders Club now has over 1,600 members, and only one suite for a half-season remains available). An April 2020 Opening Day is planned.

Want to help plan and build the stadium?

Local firms interested in being considered for the stadium design/construction/outfitting can express their interest using the below link.

Big thanks to all the museums and businesses that welcomed them, and a huge hat tip to EDT's Jim Gaston for coordinating the whole thing (Jim is also the brains behind our weekly video series).
