Fredericksburg one of fastest-growing Virginia localities

The City of Fredericksburg was one of the fastest-growing localities in Virginia over the past decade, according to a recent analysis.

Stacker compiled a list of the fastest-growing cities and counties in Virginia using data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Localities were ranked by the highest population growth from 2010 to 2019.

Fredericksburg grew at a 22.4 percent clip during those years, trailing only Loudoun County, Manassas Park and New Kent County, according to the analysis.
