Showcasing Fredericksburg as a Meeting Destination
Economic Development & Tourism (EDT) staff recently hosted Eisenman and Associates for a familiarization (FAM) tour highlighting some of Fredericksburg’s leading venues for meetings, conferences, and special events.
The visit included tours of the Fredericksburg Convention Center and Virginia Credit Union Stadium, giving the team a firsthand look at the spaces, amenities, and unique experiences Fredericksburg can offer groups and organizations. Eisenman and Associates provides meeting planning services to associations, businesses, and nonprofits, making the visit a valuable opportunity to showcase Fredericksburg as a convenient and memorable destination for future events.
FAM tours are an important part of promoting Fredericksburg to meeting planners and other decision-makers. Bringing meetings and conferences to the city not only supports local venues, but also generates business for hotels, restaurants, retailers, attractions, and other businesses as attendees spend time in the community.
The day wrapped up with a true Fredericksburg experience at the City of Fredericksburg Baseball Suite, where guests enjoyed a FredNats game against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.
From meeting spaces to memorable experiences, the visit offered a great opportunity to demonstrate why Fredericksburg is a destination worth putting on the agenda.
