Academy Sports + Outdoors opening Oct. 2

Academy Sports + Outdoors will open its new Fredericksburg store on Monday, Oct. 2.

The roughly 80,000-square-foot store is at 1320 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Central Park. It will be in retail spaces formerly occupied by And That and Buy Buy Baby (the two spaces were combined into one for the new store).

Academy Sports is headquartered in the Houston area and has nearly 300 stores. It offers a broad assortment of hunting, fishing and camping equipment and gear, along with sports and leisure products, footwear, apparel and much more.
