Bodyworks featured in this week’s deal

Fredericksburg’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) this week is offering a 50 percent discounted gift card to Bodyworks Downtown Athletic Club at 1027 Caroline Street.

People can buy a $100 gift card/membership to the business for just $50. The EDA will subsidize the rest of the cost.

The deal is the third of a weekly promotion the EDA designed to support Fredericksburg gyms, yoga studios and fitness centers — which have been hit hard by the pandemic.

Every week through May 10, a different fitness business in the City of Fredericksburg will be featured. The cards are available at FXBGLoveLocal.com and at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center at 706 Caroline Street. Cards from the following businesses will be sold in subsequent weeks:

• Fly Fitness Inspiration (Week of March 29)
• Fredericksburg Fitness Studio (Week of April 5)
• FXBG TRX (Week of April 12)
• Gold’s Gym (Week of April 19)
