Join us on July 4th for a day filled with excitement!

Fallen Heroes 5 Miler Race:  Kick off the day with a run along the Rappahannock River and the beautiful areas of FXBG.

Children’s Roll N’ Stroll:  Children and adults are invited to participate in the July 4th Roll N’ Stroll. Parade will follow Caroline St. from the train station to Market Square. Prizes for best adult and child costumes and best decorated bicycle and wagon/stroller.

Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence: Independence Day in Fredericksburg isn’t just about fireworks and parades—it’s about coming together as a community to celebrate shared values of liberty and unity.

Fourth in Fredericksburg Festival: Throughout the day at Riverfront Park, enjoy live music, children’s activities and food vendors offering a great variety of options. It’s a perfect opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Patriotic Palooza & Fireworks:  Gather with family and friends at the Virginia Credit Union Stadium for activities, a movie and a breathtaking fireworks display.
