Central Park businesses rounding into shape
Progress is being made for numerous highly anticipated businesses coming to Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center.
The signage is now up on the new Raising Cane’s building at 3071 Plank Road near the main entrance of Central Park. A former Pier 1 Imports building that was at that location was torn down for the project.
Also in the works even closer to the main entrance of Central Park is a project to build a Silver Diner and Chase Bank. The two existing buildings on that site, which formerly housed a Ruby Tuesday and a Pancho Villa restaurant, will be torn down for that project, which is going through the permitting process.
Cold Stone Creamery is making progress at its new location at 1291 Carl D. Silver Parkway, a space formerly occupied by Jimmy John’s.
Academy Sports + Outdoors is also rounding into form in the 80,000-square-foot retail spaces formerly occupied by And That and Buy Buy Baby at 1320 Carl D. Silver Parkway. Academy Sports offers a broad assortment of hunting, fishing, and camping equipment and gear, along with sports and leisure products, footwear, apparel and more.
We can’t wait to see all these businesses open, and we will keep you posted on progress!
