The Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority (EDA) is excited to launch two new initiatives designed to strengthen and celebrate our local business community — the FXBG Local Loop and The Business Pour. These programs were created to empower Fredericksburg businesses with practical tools, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections. Through hands-on learning and collaborative networking, the EDA aims to support business growth, spark innovation, and showcase the incredible talent that makes doing business in Fredericksburg truly special.

Led by local and regional experts, these hands-on workshops dive into strategies that work for businesses right here in our community. Attendees will explore current market trends, discover digital tools that make a difference, and tap into local resources that support sustainable growth.

Upcoming sessions will cover key topics businesses have asked for most — from social media engagement, ad targeting, and creating short-form videos like reels, to marketing essentials such as branding, SEO, keywords, and Google tools. Participants will also learn how to collaborate through cross-marketing, get started with AI and ChatGPT, and strengthen their business with financial best practices and business resilience & recovery planning that support long-term success.

Even better, the Local Loop is about connection — building relationships that strengthen Fredericksburg’s business network. It’s a chance to meet fellow business owners, swap ideas, and collaborate on ways to keep our business community strong and innovative.

Together, these programs create a supportive circle where businesses can learn from one another, celebrate success, and grow together.

Exciting things ahead! Both series will roll out quarterly in 2026 — don’t miss what’s coming next!
