Freehling Finds, 5/28/24: Mary Washington Lodge update

The Mary Washington Monument and Caretaker’s Lodge has undergone many improvements since our last visit in March 2023. You can watch the March 2023 video with this link. In this week’s episode, Bill tours the Lodge with Washington Heritage Museums Executive Director Anne Darron. Anne talks about the beautiful work that has been performed by the many volunteers on the inside and outside of the Lodge. We will also hear about the recent event held on the Washington Monument grounds to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the Dedication of the Monument to Mary Washington.
