Fredericksburg Hosts a How to Start a Childcare Webinar

As Fredericksburg continues to grow, the availability of reliable and affordable childcare has become increasingly critical to workforce development & participation, small business stability, and the region’s long-term economic vitality. Access to affordable, high-quality childcare isn’t just a family issue, it’s an economic issue facing an increasing percentage of families across the Fredericksburg region.

That was the central theme of a recent childcare webinar. Building upon City Council’s vote to amend zoning regulations surrounding the permissible location of childcare facilities within the City of Fredericksburg. The January 28th webinar brought together a collaboration of local, regional, and statewide resources targeting entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their own childcare business

The webinar was an important step toward aligning and connecting interested entrepreneurs and childcare small business owners with the necessary information and toolkit to make their business thrive.
