FredNats on fire, play to resume Wednesday

The Fredericksburg Nationals have jumped out to a fast start to the second-half of the 2022 season.

On July 4th, in front of 5,000-plus Fredericksburg fans, the FredNats won their eighth-straight game, defeating the Lynchburg Hillcats 6-2. That ran the FredNats’ overall record to 42-34, best in the Carolina League North. The team is 9-1 in the season’s Second Half.

Fans wanting to watch the team won’t have long to wait. Tuesday is an off-day, but the current homestand against the Hillcats will resume Wednesday and go through Sunday afternoon.
