Hatcher tapped to lead Community Foundation

After an extensive search process, The Community Foundation Board of Governors has appointed Zachary Hatcher as its new Chief Executive Officer, starting in August.

“I am eager to join such a dedicated team and work alongside our passionate community members to drive positive change and create lasting impact across the region,” Hatcher said in the announcement “Together, we will build on the foundation’s remarkable legacy of philanthropy and service.”

Hatcher will take over the reins from Teri McNally, who has led the Community Foundation for the past 23 years.

Hatcher brings with him a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in nonprofit leadership and fund development. His extensive experience working with nonprofits in Fredericksburg and the broader region includes his most recent position as Director of Development at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
