Huntley Homecoming now set for March 30

A community celebration of a Fredericksburg man’s recent victory on Season 24 of “The Voice” has been moved to Saturday, March 30 at the Virginia Credit Union Stadium (home of the FredNats).

The celebration had originally been scheduled for Jan. 21, but that was postponed due to winter weather. Plans for the March 30 event are similar as before. Here is the schedule:

  • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Downtown driving procession along Huntley’s performance venues
  • 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Virginia Credit Union Stadium, 42 Jackie Robinson Way. Gates open to RSVP voucher holders at 11:30 a.m.

Admission to the stadium and parking is free, however RSVP is required due to limited capacity. Spaces are limited to four people per email address. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 3 and under do not need a voucher. Concessions will be open at the stadium. Only clear bags are permitted.

At Huntley’s request, the celebration will include raising awareness and fundraising for Loisann’s Hope House, which is the Fredericksburg region’s oldest and largest family homeless shelter.
