Riverfront Park restrooms now open

The new restrooms at Fredericksburg’s Riverfront Park are now open.

A brick veneer will be installed around the bottom third of the structure, and a standing-seam metal roof will be put in place — as required by Fredericksburg’s Architectural Review Board. The restrooms are expected to remain open during that work.

The restrooms were funded in part by a $1.2 million federal grant the City of Fredericksburg received for upgrades to Riverfront Park. The funding will also cover a mobile performance stage.
