Silver Companies donates additional home
The philanthropic arm of the Silver Companies has now purchased and donated three homes along Lafayette Boulevard to an organization dedicated to ending the cycle of homelessness for Fredericksburg-area families.
Silver Foundation recently purchased the house at 824 Lafayette Blvd. for Loisann’s Hope House and also included a cash pledge to subsidize any needed repairs. The foundation did the same in the past few years with the houses at 826 Lafayette Blvd. and 909 Lafayette Blvd.
The organization was named in memory of Loisann Silver Chacon, the sister of Silver Companies President and CEO Larry Silver. She dedicated her career to working with mentally ill patients, homeless youth and abused children.
