UMW to host NCAA soccer tournament this weekend
The Mary Washington men’s soccer team will be dancing at home this fall in the 2023 NCAA men’s soccer championship.
After winning the Coast-to-Coast Conference championship last weekend in Santa Cruz, Ca., the Eagles gained wins in the first two rounds at home this weekend. Mary Washington (18-1-2) will host a four-team sectional and play Washington College in the tournament third round. The winner faces either Montclair State University or Connecticut College on Sunday.
The Eagles will play Washington College at 11 a.m. on Saturday, while Montclair St. and Connecticut College will play at 1:30 p.m. The national quarterfinal game on Sunday will start at 1 p.m.
