FXBG Diverse City Spotlight: Daniel Perron & Locavore — Elevating Local Flavor in Fredericksburg

FXBG Diverse City is a year-long initiative by the City of Fredericksburg’s Department of Economic Development & Tourism, celebrating the people, identities, and stories behind the Fredericksburg businesses we all know and love. This month, we’re proud to highlight Daniel Perron, chef-owner of Locavore, one of Downtown Fredericksburg’s newest additions blending global flavors with a welcoming neighborhood feel.

His Korean heritage inspires signature dishes like the Kalbi beef skewers, while his vision for Locavore focuses on warm, approachable hospitality. With the addition of the rooftop bar Folklore, guests can enjoy elevated dining or a more casual experience.

Perron says the community’s early support has meant everything. “Supporting small businesses makes an impact. I appreciate everyone who has supported me so far.” Getting to know Daniel means discovering the passion, heart, and creativity behind one of Downtown’s newest dining experiences.
