Kickshaws to Open Richmond Location

Twelve years ago, Kathy and Richard opened Kickshaws Gluten-free Bakery in Fredericksburg, Virginia, driven by a passion to provide safe foods to their community. What started with just a mission, has grown into a thriving business loved by locals and visitors alike.

Kathy, a survivor of domestic abuse, former Marine, and Lupus fighter, found healing through food, a journey she shares with her husband and their family. Together, they’ve faced many trials and errors, but their commitment to helping others like them on their journeys has kept them going.

Now, after years of hard work, they’re excited to announce the opening of their second location at 4028 MacArthur Ave in Richmond, Virginia. The journey hasn’t been easy, but the support of their community has made it all worthwhile.

“Thank you for keeping us going – we love you all!” said Kathy in her Facebook post announcing the expansion.
