New restaurant in the works for former Joe’s Crab Shack space

It appears that the former Joe’s Crab Shack space in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center will have a new life.

An ABC notice has been filed for a restaurant in that now-empty space at 2805 Plank Road. The establishment is named as Hacienda El Patron Mexican Cocina. The applicant’s name is Rogelio Sosa Hernandez, the owner of the local El Patron chain.

We will keep you posted! Not far from there, a Silver Diner is getting built near the entrance to Central Park.
