Activity remains brisk in Central Park
Good construction and new-business activity is continuing in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center.
One of the most-recent openings in the large mixed-use center off Interstate 95 is Club Champion at 1668 Carl D. Silver Parkway. The golf shop offers custom-fittings and more services and products.
That follows on the heels of T.J.Maxx and Burlington opening large stores in Central Park.
Additional activity is under way. A Raising Cane’s restaurant is being built where the Pier One used to be near Chipotle and Wawa.
Academy Sports + Outdoors is also in the process of building out an 80,000-square-foot store where Buy Buy Baby and And That used to be.
Coming soon are a Silver Diner and a Chase Bank branch where the former Ruby Tuesday and Pancho Villa buildings are currently located (both buildings will be torn down for these projects).
The Clarion hotel is also being renovated. When it’s finished, it will be two hotels: a Clarion Hotel & Suites (94 rooms) and a Comfort Inn & Suites (100 rooms).
Here is a video we recently did on this activity:
