The City of Fredericksburg Department of Economic Development & Tourism is excited to formally announce Natalie Ealy as the Visitor Center Manager.

The City of Fredericksburg is pleased to welcome Eugeniy Mikityuk as the newest member of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) Board.

The City of Fredericksburg will begin a comprehensive infrastructure improvement project on Monday, June 23, 2025, focused on enhancing pedestrian mobility and accessibility through the reconstruction of sidewalks and upgrades to ADA-compliant access ramps.

The City of Fredericksburg announces plans for the Dixon Park Connector, a new multimodal project designed to enhance the City’s trail network and promote safer, more connected options for walking and biking.

Jessica Atkinson is the Voter Registrar for the City of Fredericksburg. She and her team work year-round to adopt best practices and encourage voter registration and participation. In mid-March, her office hosted a regional Voter Registrars Association of Virginia Conference, here in Fredericksburg. Happily, the “turnout” was at an all-time high. Our Economic Development and Tourism (ED&T) office was excited to lend a hand.

Courtney is as busy as you can BEE…. She buzzes around as a new-ish member of the Parks, Recreation and Events (PRE) Team. Her job is the E part of the title – Courtney Mersiowsky is the Superintendent of Special Events.

The Silver Companies and STACK Infrastructure announce an agreement to build as many as 8-12 data centers in the City of Fredericksburg.

The City of Fredericksburg’s open spaces are some of the key features of this amazing community. Since the beginning of June, thousands of people have enjoyed access to the City’s parks, trails, playgrounds, athletic fields, and other amenities for many different forms of recreation.
