Fredericksburg Symphony holding inaugural concert

The newly formed Fredericksburg Symphony will hold its inaugural concert this coming Friday evening (Oct. 29) in Central Park.

The Fredericksburg Symphony is a 65-piece semi-professional symphony orchestra that will present a full slate of performances at the 1,000-seat Lifepoint Auditorium in Central Park (1400 Central Park Blvd.).

Kevin Bartram is the new music director of the symphony. Bartram was formerly the conductor of the University of Mary Washington’s Philharmonic Orchestra.

The first concert will be called “On Top of the World.” It starts at 7:30 p.m. Future concerts are set for Dec. 3, March 11 and May 6. Click here for more details.
